Six Flags Fiesta Texas – Batman: The Ride
This Texas theme park plans to open Batman: The Ride in the summer of 2015 and it’s a ride unlike any other in the world. The 4D Wing Coaster features two beyond vertical drops, and will literally flip riders head over heels several times utilizing magnetic fins. It also follows along with a Batman/Bruce Wayne theme throughout its duration including sightings of the Batmobile and Bat Signal.

Six Flags Magic Mountain – Twisted Colossus
Twisted Colossus will debut in late spring of this year and will be the longest hybrid coaster in the world. The new, innovative twist on a wooden coaster will allow guests to have that authentic feel, while getting a more modern ride experience. The ride will feature inversions, a 360 degree twist in the track, a 128-foot drop at 80 degrees, and many more thrilling moments.

Six Flags New England – Wicked Cyclone
Opening in spring of 2015, the Wicked Cyclone is sure to be a popular attraction at this Six Flags location. The most extreme features of both wood and steel coasters will join together to give riders a unique and thrilling experience. It will be the first roller coaster of it’s kind to have a 200-degree stall and two Zero-G rolls, leaving riders feeling suspended in the air 10 stories up in the sky.

Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags St. Louis – Justice League: Battle For Metropolis
The two sister parks, located in Arlington, Texas, and St. Louis, Missouri, are each introducing a new interactive ride this year called Justice League: Battle For Metropolis in late spring of 2015. These 4D interactive dark rides will provide an experience unlike any other. Riders will help rescue Justice League team members and battle against Lex Luther and The Joker all while being surrounded by lifelike animatronics and using real time gaming systems.

Carowinds – Fury 325
Carowinds, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, is known as The Thrill Capital of the Southeast. Their newest ride, Fury 325 which will be ready to ride in spring of this year, will be the tallest and fastest giga coaster in the world reaching a height of 325 feet and a speed of 95 miles per hour. The coaster has a hornet’s nest theme, and is sure to invigorate even the most experienced thrill seeker.

Holiday World – Thunderbird
The Thunderbird coaster is set to launch on April 25th of this year, making it a thrilling addition to the holiday themed park in this Indiana park. It will be the first launched wing coaster in the country and will feature twists, turns, a 14-story Immelman drop, tallest vertical drop on any wing coaster, and much more. The track will take riders through wooded areas and will appear as though it will collide with trees, other rides, and even the ground for an exhilarating experience.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg – Tempesto
Busch Gardens will be unveiling a new coaster called Tempesto in April 2015. Following within the theme of traditional Italian daredevils, Tempesto allows riders to feel as though they’re reenacting an epic scene. It reaches speeds of up to 63 mph and will have three launch elements, a 154-foot high speed inversion, just to name a few of it’s exciting features.

Universal Studios Hollywood – Fast & Furious Supercharged
Fast & Furious – Supercharged will be opening on June 25th of 2015 in celebration with the 50th Anniversary of the Studio Tour, allowing for guests to ride alongside the cast of the popular The Fast and the Furious films. A high-speed chase will have riders going speeds of up to 120 miles per hour while experiencing highly realistic 3D-HD special effects and being surrounded by the world’s largest 360-degree screens.
The park is also opening an entire new world this spring and will be home to The Simpson’s Ride in Springfield, where guests can hang out in Homer Simpson’s hometown. You’ll ride alongside the Simpson family during their trip to Krustyland, and afterwards can visit the Kwik-E Mart and grab a bite to eat at Krusty Burger.

Knott’s Berry Farm – Voyage to the Iron Reef
This popular California theme park plans to unveil Voyage to the Iron Reef on May 15th, 2015. Riders will battle a Kracken Queen and her army as they reveal themselves from beneath the Boardwalk within the park. The 4-D interactive adventure will involve freeze rays used to protect the park from the menacing creatures of the deep.

Knoebels Amusement Resort – Impulse
Located in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, Knoebels is the largest admission free park in the United States and has been for the past 87 years. This year, they’re introducing their biggest project yet, Impulse. Set to debut this summer, Impulse will have a 2,000 foot long track and reach speeds over 55 miles per hour. Riders will also experience a 90-degree free fall drop from the top of a hill, an upside down loop, and 360-degree heartline spin. The park’s goal is to give guests a thrilling, exhilarating ride and it seems that Impulse will do just that.
Lagoon – Cannibal
This Farmington, Utah amusement park has plans to unveil their new coaster, Cannibal, sometime this year. Riders will be lifted 208 feet up into the air before plunging into a 116-degree beyond vertical free fall directly into an underground tunnel. Reaching speeds up to 70 miles per hour, thrill seekers won’t be disappointed as they travel along 2,735 feet of tracks with three different inversions and a 140 foot drop. Lagoon is calling Cannibal its most thrilling ride yet.

ZDT’s Amusement Park – Switchback
ZDT’s is a family-friendly park in Texas that’s open year round. They’re expanding this year in order to make room for their newest attraction, Switchback, and plan to debut it this summer. It will be the only wooden shuttle coaster in the world, with a locomotive theme. Switchback surprises riders early on with a sudden 62-foot drop before soaring through buildings and stopping suddenly, all before the ride starts back up and does everything again in reverse.

Hersheypark – Laff Trakk
Hersheypark in Pennsylvania will soon be home to the very first spinning indoor glow coaster in the country. Putting a new spin on traditional fun houses, Laff Trakk will provide guests with a fun, colorful journey through a hall of mirrors full of silly characters and flashing lights at around 40 miles per hour.

This Louisville theme park has not one, but five new attractions for 2015. First up is T3 – Terror to the Third Power. This suspended looping coaster takes guests on a gravity defying ride with several inversions high above the ground. Cyclos is also a brand new attraction. The ride is literally a swinging pendulum that rotates 360-degrees while looping and swinging through the air. If you need to cool off, try the Raging Rapids River Ride. You’ll traverse wild rapids all while avoiding looming boulders and geysers. With a very fitting name, Skycatcher is a great way to soar above the park and take it all in. You’ll swing 130 feet up in the air, providing you with views you can’t get anywhere else. Last but not least is Enterprise. Similar to some carnival rides, guests will be seated and secured all while spinning 360-degrees and trying to keep themselves upright. No matter what type of rides you’re interested, you’re sure to find a new favorite this year at Kentucky Kingdom.

Silver Dollar City – Fireman’s Landing
Silver Dollar City theme park in Missouri has just opened a new area housing ten different family adventures called Fireman’s Landing. It features six new rides, including an 8-story freefall, and four interactive zones that ensure everyone in the family will be entertained.

Canada’s Wonderland – Typhoon and Splash Station
Two new attractions for Canada’s Wonderland park will leave guests feeling cool and refreshed. Typhoon and Splash Station will both be featured this season, giving parkgoers the opportunity to ride a thrilling new water slide and access to an interactive play area for kids.

Cedar Point – Rougarou
Considered the roller coaster capital of the world, this Ohio theme park is the perfect place for those in need of an adrenaline rush. This summer, they’ll be unveiling a brand new coaster called Rougarou. With speeds reaching up to 60 miles per hour, Rougarou will be the first floorless coaster in the park. Guests will experience a 137 foot drop, as well as high speed twists and inversions.

Darien Lake – One Wet One Wild
This seasonal park in New York is now home to a brand new attraction called One Wet One Wild. It features Brain Drain, a 70 foot tall water slide that propels riders 300 feet in 10 seconds and through a 360-degree loop. There’s also a brand new steel roller coaster called Rolling Thunder, reaching heights of seven stories high.
