I totally gave in to all the hype I was hearing about the ugliest shoes ever made, and bought myself a pair of Crocs.

I don’t know what I was thinking when I ordered the color “pink” from the website, maybe I thought my feet would look as cute in them as my 3 yr. olds pink pair…who knows.
I received them the other day and all I can say is “Wow, I feel like I am walking on marshmallows”. I told this to my husband and he told me he wanted to walk on marshmallows too…so I am off to find him a pair before Disney.
I have to say I am a little embarrased to be wearing these out of those house. I took them on a test run through Wal-Mart….because who really cares what you look like in Wal-Mart right?
and my feet were in heaven!
I am now a total believer in these things and will look in to buying a black or brown pair of the mary-jane style so I will feel less like a dork. But for now, my pink ones will have to do!
Working from home does have its advantages…yes, those are my VS PJ’s
But it also has its disadvantages…I will be staying up until all hours of the morning finishing this stuff because I procrastinated!

I have had that graphing calculator since high school….I guess that was $100 well spent!
I took my daughter to the zoo for the first time today as today was “Family Fun Day” and the admission was only $3 compared to the regular admission price of $16.95. Good Deal.
So I should have known something was up when it took me 20 minutes to go 1/2 a mile once off the interstate to the entrance of the zoo. We went to Lowry Park Zoo in case you were wondering…
Well, then I noticed that all the parking lots were full and we ended up parking somewhere on some grass. So we unpacked the *new* stroller and headed for the entrance.
I tell you that everyone and their mother was at the zoo today….literally. Disney World is not even as bad as the entrance to this place.
We finally paid our $6 and were in! Things quickly went downhill again when we couldn’t see many of the animals because of all the people and it was SUPER hot!
We stayed about 2 hours and eventually left because it started to rain. I did enjoy what little time we spent there and I know my daughter did, but would probably not go back and just put the $16.95 ticket price towards admission to Busch Gardens instead.
Thank God my husband didn’t go….he would have been miserable!
