I turned 26 last month and can honestly say I had one of the best birthdays ever!

My husband took my daughter and I to Epcot in Disney World for the day and it was truly magical

Here is an overview:

After we left Epcot we picked up my cake at the Boardwalk Bakery

and picked up my little 6″ bday cake to take home

I also got a Magical Moment Certificate from Goofy’s Candy Company in DTD

and Dh bought me a Disney Easter Basket…

and the clingy family I wanted

This is a very sad but important post for parents with babies, toddlers, and even older children.

A woman I know from an online message board lost her dear son Corey who was just two weeks shy of turning 2, due to a tragic accident involving his dresser falling on him.

Unfortunately this accident could have been prevented if his dresser had been properly secured to the wall. I know for a lot of us moms probably have furniture that is not secure and it takes a horrible accident such as this to get things taken care of.

I urge you all to look around your house tonight to make sure all heavy furniture is properly fastened/secure to the wall. This is a very inexpensive thing to do and may save your child’s life.

I am very pleased with how so many moms in my online community have come together and collectively we have donated over $10,000 to help this family with funeral costs and other necessities as they face this difficult time they have ahead.
