May 2008
I have never in my life have worn glasses or contacts but recently my eyes began to feel tired when I was out shopping and I wasn’t seeing things clearly far away. I went and had my eyes tested and it was recommended I could use glasses if I wanted to help make things sharper. I am sure it doesn’t help that I stare at the computer all day.
Here are my new glasses…it is really weird to see them on me but hopefully I will get used to them. Picking this glasses out took almost a week! What do you think?

and luckily for me it isn’t a bad one.
Its Lipton Tea To Go Revitalize Raspberry Lime!
First of all I drink a ton of bottled water, spare me, I know bottles are bad for the environment and tap water is cheaper, but for whatever reason I really only like water out of a bottle. It is better for me than a can of soda anyday, so I drink a ton of it.
At the same time I am also obsessed with those little individual sized packages of drink mix. I used to use the Target brand lemonade which was just fine. Crystal light is OK, but is usually really expensive…so I found the Lipton Green Tea To Go, a nice mid priced compromise.
I started out with the Lipton Green Tea Cherry Blossom and I was hooked! SO GOOD! To bad for me this flavor is being discontinued. I bought every box at Publix when they were on clearance at $1.50 each. My stash is gone
So I went and tried another kind, and in my search I found the Revilalizing Raspberry Lime. Heavenly, even for a drink mix.
The thing is I almost didn’t buy it because it said Raspberry- and I HATE Raspberries, the Lime part drew me in.
Luckily for me, it doesn’t taste like Raspberry at all and tastes more like Lime….SO Good. SO good in fact I go through at least five little pouches a day- not good for my budget however as there are only 10 in a box @ $3 a box. I guess I am drinking some pretty expensive water, good thing it is calorie and sugar free!

We’re All Set up for VPK this year…
My daughter is definately growing up fast. I got the certificate we needed for VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) and shopped around for some schools this week.
I found one today that is somewhat close to us. After taking a tour of the place I officially signed her up, so she is ready to go when school starts in August.
The place I choose is very flexible and I will pay just an additional $10 a day/$50 a week to have her stay 2 1/2 hours longer for lunch and nap. This gives me some extra time to get things done. The usual VPK runs from 8:30am-11:30am. This also will give her some more social interaction time, which she needs.
This is the first year we will go school shopping!! Ahhhh I am more excited then she is, but I know she is going to love it, and we can still spend a 1/2 day together ![]()
