BlogHer 2009 here I come!

Published by admin under Chitter Chatter

I have been really enjoying all the blogging updates from all the BlogHer attendees and am super envious of everyone that got to go.

Months ago I asked my husband if I could go, and although he said yes, it was not in the budget this year.

San Fransisco is a long way from Florida so it made it that much more expensive. However next year, look out, as I am making a promise to myself to go unless something major comes up.

I figure the chances will be pretty good that BlogHer 2009 will be on the east coast…and I will be there. :)

I am still considering going to IzeaFest in Orlando this September…I only wish it wasn’t 1 week before our family vacation.

We are all sick

Published by admin under Chitter Chatter

Well my daughter is still on antibotics and while she doesn’t have a fever anymore she is still coughing.

Yesterday I felt sick and Rick took off work to take care of me. :) Too bad today he woke up not feeling well and had to miss a meeting. We are taking Zicam and all I want to eat are swiss cake rolls and fresca. Ugh.

I really hate feeling this way and I haven’t gotten anything done in days. I washed every blanket, sheet, comforter and pillow case in the house last week and now I need to do it all over again!

I also raided Bath and Body Works antibacterial soap section and feel like I have washed my hands a million times…maybe to the point of obsessiveness…I really hate this.

I need to get better soon for the sake of my sanity!

My baby is sick

Published by admin under Chitter Chatter

Last night my daughter had 104 degree fever and it really freaked me out. I wanted to take her to the ER but knew that would be a waste of time and money so we fed her ice pops and gave her cool baths until I finally got some motrin and a prescription for amoxicillin.

I was a total mess at Target and basically cried to the pharmacist about how worried I was. I am sure he thinks I am a nut!

Today it is down to 100 degrees, so hopefully she is getting better

I hate to see my baby sick… :(

Yes, we play with our food

My husband was lucky enough to get some live Maine Lobster for us to feast on tonight.

I couldn’t resist…
