With the news of Twinkies’ parent company, Hostess Brands, going under today, there seems to be an uproar on the internetz over America’s favorite creme-filled snack cake. Though it’s been ages since I ate a Twinkie, I have memories of enjoying them as a kid. It will be a sad day when the shelves are finally cleared of this iconic sweet treat, and judging by the reports of boxes of Twinkies being sold on eBay … that someday may be soon!

I’m trying not to shed a tear as I look at all those Twinkies. I’ve hit up 3 stores now and can’t find any.
I think I’d like a homemade version of twinkies better! I don’t care for the original!
