Have you caught on to ABC's The Catch yet? If not, you really need to tune in because it's a catchy (see what I did there!) 'cat and mouse' drama right after Scandal on Thurday nights (TGIT!).
The show centers around Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos), LA’s top private investigator, and her fiancee Benjamin Jones (Peter Krause), who cons her out of millions and disappears with his long-time partners, mastermind Margot Bishop (Sonya Walker) and Reggie Lennox (Alimi Ballard). Alice goes on a private mission for payback, doing whatever it takes to catch her man. Also in the mix is Alice's best friend and business partner, Valerie Anderson (Rose Rollins), and their associates Danny Yoon (Jay Hayden) and Sophie Novak (Elvy Yost).
Behind the Scenes of ABC's The Catch
While in Los Angeles for the Captain America press event, I had the opportunity to go behind the scenes of ABC's The Catch. In addition to a set visit, we were treated to an interview with show costumer designer Peggy Schnitzer. It's always fun to see the wardrobe department because the attention to detail that goes in to each outfit is incredible. Everything is also meticulously organized.
For The Catch, Peggy went with a 1960s vibe for the wardrobe with pops of color. Each character has their own distinct look. Alice is sleek and strong, but feminine. Margot is feminine but professional, not too power suit-y. Peter pretty much wears a uniform with dark suits and mostly white tailored shirts. Reggie is in plaids.
Peggy said that The Catch is designer’s dream, "great cast, great bodies, great visuals and the story is fantastic. It’s really fun to pair up with the story in terms of the design aspect of it".
Fun Fact: In the very first episode of The Catch, Alice shows “Chrisopher Hall” AKA Benjamin Jones her wedding dress. The dress was designed by Peggy Schnitzer exclusively for the show.
Midway through our interview with Peggy, Rose Rollins (Valerie Anderson) popped in to take us on a tour of the set of The Catch. Rose was wonderful, and the set was AMAZING! Here are some photos from our tour.

The Catch Set Visit - Anderson | Vaughan Investigations
It's always cool to go behind the scenes and I learned so many interesting facts from Peggy and Rose. My favorite area of the set is Alice's house, which is as big as an actual house and impeccably decorated. The AVI office was stunning as well, with so many pieces in white— it was light and bright and a great contrast to the other sets.
The Catch is a great show and is quickly becoming one of my favorites on ABC — make sure to tune in right after Scandal!
Watch The Catch Thursdays at 10pm EST on ABC!

Does anyone know what bedding/duvet was used in Alice Vaughan's bedroom?
