I can’t imagine there is anything worse in life than losing a child. In fact I can’t imagine it at all. I personally would rather die than go through that pain. And as I sit here crying about the loss of an adorable little girl, Maddie Spohr, I am reminded how I am truly blessed to have my little girl.
Everyday I treasure her and let her know how much I love and adore her. I am truly blessed to have 1 perfect child. As much as I complain about infertility issues, or stupid things like not getting approved for a mortgage last week (being self employed has its downsides), I realize its all pretty meaningless as the only real important things in life are family…with my child being at the top of the list.
I can’t imagine anything that I could ever say to the Spohr’s that would make them feel any better about the loss of their little girl. I honestly don’t know how they are living right now, but hopefully God is giving them strength and little Maddie is resting with the angels.
