Being a Florida resident I am fortunate enough that I have a bunch of major theme parks within driving distance from my home. This makes for much more affordable vacations, as well as mini weekend getaways.
It wasn’t until last month that I got to experience SeaWorld for the first time. Since our visit, my daughter has been begging me on a daily basis to go back and see Shamu.

When you visit SeaWorld this summer you have to try out their newest roller coaster, Manta.
Manta is the best roller coaster I have ever been on, and literally makes you feel as if you were flying. Since you ride this coaster facing down, it takes a second to get used to- it is scary, fast, fun, and yet smooth at the same time. It’s one of those rides you have to experience yourself to believe.
Our other favorite SeaWorld attractions were feeding the dolphins, the Believe Show with Shamu, and the dolphin show.
SeaWorld is a park that the whole family will love and it has a nice mix of rides and shows. Since SeaWorld focuses on sea life, it something different than the other Orlando theme parks.
With the great 2 for 1 ticket deal this Summer, there is no reason not to visit SeaWorld if you are within driving distance of Orlando.
