I have been working out regularly for the past few months in the hopes to shed a few pounds and to be prepared for my first 5K (which I just completed- yay!) At first, I just wore my faded yoga pants and old tank tops to the gym because I didn’t see the point of spending money on workout clothes. All you do is sweat in them, right!?
That was my thought process until I tried a few of the new sports bras from Champion, the Show-Off and the Double Dry Absolute Workout II.
Champion The Show-Off Sports Bra - This full-coverage Champion sports bra was designed to conceal, not reveal. It offers smooth molded cups that give a natural shape and maximum support.
First my favorite of the two sports bra styles, the Show-Off. This sports bra is like no other that I’ve tried in that is gives full support in a comfortable style that’s easy to wear. I love that there’s no show-through, and even with molded cups you could wear it alone or under a tank. The style is super cute and true to it’s name — you really do want to show this top off! For me, the Show-Off fit pretty true to size,
Champion’s Double Dry Absolute Workout II sports bras (wow, that’s a mouthful!) are similar in style to your typical sports bra tops, but they have the added benefit of built-in UV protection and extra compression, which helps reduce bounce. These sports bras also have extra moisture-wicking technology to help you stay cool and dry. The one downsize I found to this style was that they run extremely small. I received both a medium and a large (with medium being my normal size) and I could have used an extra-large. I do like the moisture-wicking in the fabric as I really felt it helped keep me dry. I also loved the colors, which are super bright and fun!
After trying (and loving) both of these sports bras from Champion I decided to give my workout wardrobe an update. Regular clothing, like tank tops, didn’t give me nearly the support I needed when I ran or worked out. The fabric on both of the tops kept me cool and dry, and I have to admit I LOVED how cute they looked on — they really made look forward to working out!
