Saltimbanco, the new touring show from Cirque du Soleil premiered tonight in Tampa, Fl.
I have always wanted to see a Cirque du Soleil show, but for whatever reason, probably money, I never got around to it….until now! Thank you Mom Select for being so generous and giving my family 4 tickets to see the opening night of Saltimbanco in Tampa.
The show was above and beyond my expectations. From the moment I sat down I was hooked. The artistry and talent these performers display is truly amazing. I mean really, where do they get these people? They were that good.
Saltimbanco is family friendly show, but it doesn’t scream kids show either. It really is a perfect balance of adult and kid friendly entertainment. My 5 year old was glued to her seat throughout the 2 1/2 hour performance. I sat there most of the time with my mouth dropped and in awe of acts I was seeing.
Unfortunately, there was no photography or video allowed during the show, so I really have nothing to share as far as the actual show. Just take my word for it and GO SEE IT if it is even close to a city near you.

Now that I have seen 1 performance of Cirque du Soliel, I want to see more! I think I will try to get tickets to see La Nouba in Orlando during our September vacation.
