This post is brought to you by Target. All opinions are my own.
I cannot believe summer is almost over and we’re already entering back-to-school season! Thankfully, half my work was done for me when I used Target’s School List Assist to purchase all of my daughter’s school supplies (what a breeze!) – but I knew ahead of time clothes shopping was going to be a bit more time consuming.
For one, my daughter is in a non-uniform school for the first time EVER! We’re simply not used to buying clothes on a grand scale. And two, I’m now the mother of a tween girl who is super picky with her own unique style – a quality I secretly love. It may take more time to try on clothes and pick out the right outfits f0r BTS, but in the end I know my daughter is wearing what she wants and feels comfortable doing so.
Our first clothing stop turned out to be our best haul for her much needed clothing pieces and accessories. We chose Target because we already shop there on a regular basis and knew there was a huge selection of clothing for back-to-school. Seriously, they had all the trendy styles she was looking for including jumpsuits, overalls and flowy cardigans! The prices were fantastic, as always, and the quality was good, too. I could tell she found everything she was looking for because she smiled through every change in the fitting room (a rarity, I swear!).
I have never seen my daughter so excited to go back to school! Target really delivered with all the best looks for the new school year.
Because this was our first back-to-school clothes shopping experience, I came up with a handy checklist before going out. This little list turned out to be extremely useful – feel free to download & print one for yourself!
