There’s a new multiple family in town!
I just watched the premiere episode (hopefully there will be more) of twins, twins, and sextuplets.
Is it so bad that it put a smile on my face to know that there is another family with more multiples than J&K? Ha ha, I bet she is ticked that they are getting any attention at all.
The Hayes family consists of a Mom and Dad with not one, not two, but 3 sets of multiples. 2 sets of twins and 1 set of sextuplets…10 kids!
I found this family to be very refreshing, especially since I am so over Jon & Kate and their 60 minute product placement commercials every week. We all know the “wedding vow renewal” was just J&K’s idea to get a free trip to Hawaii…
This family seemed REAL. The dad actually works! They eat McDonald’s and buy Apple Jacks. And the absolute BEST part of the show?
The oldest girl dressed up as BACON on Halloween!! How cool is that? Bacon! You KNOW Kate would NEVER let any of the kids dress up as bacon!
It is worth noting that one of the sextuplets has cerebral palsy, she is absolutely beautiful, and I think because of her disability the family can really put their life in perspective and really know the meaning of family and thankfulness that Jon & Kate are so desperately lacking.
I am assuming this show is replacing The Duggars – 17 Kids and Counting which is another one of my guilty pleasures.

I will definitely have to check this show out! We stopped watching J&K awhile back too, it became too disgusting to watch.
Are the Duggers not on anymore? I hadn’t heard that. They are another family we enjoy too.

I actually like J and K. I haven’t seen this other show. I’ll have to keep an eye for it. I do not feel as controlling as K is, but I really like some of her things she does. Bacon UGGH… red meat UGGGH…I just can’t stand to even touch it. Also I have got a lot of good ideas from her show about making green products.

Boy you really seem to just loathe Jon and Kate. Although there are times in their show I cringe over all I think they are a sweet family. And the Dad from the other show works…for now. LOL Wait until (if) their show is as successful. Jon worked all of the time in the beginning.
I don’t know what is going on with the 17 kids and counting. They re-aired an episode last week in place of the new show you mentioned in this post. I found that odd. I wonder if they are doing new episodes of 17 kids? I liked watching it because they were sooo different than me.
I do have to say that I’m a bit tired of seeing the same old thing though. I hope TLC finds another niche of shows to bring on board. I like their Monday night line up but if they keep bringing on big families it’ll start to feel like I’m watching the same show over and over.
