I stumbled upon one of my favorite features of the Palm Pre Plus today. Internet Radio.
I had downloaded Pandora radio earlier in the month, and while I found it entertaining, I really didn’t have a great use for it. That changed today when I started to run – as in exercise – and was half way down the block when I realized I forgot my ipod.
Then it hit me. Why did I need an ipod when I had my Palm Pre Plus and Pandora Radio (which is free)?
I didn’t even need earbuds. I just put the volume up at the highest level and went on my way.
The volume and sound quality were perfect, and even better, I didn’t have to pay to listen to my favorite songs.
I am so pleased with the music quality on the Palm Pre Plus that tomorrow I’m ditching the ipod and just going with the phone and earbuds (which are included with the phone). That’s one less thing I have to take with me.
Another feature I recently came across was video. Now if I happen to forget my flip or JVC camcorder, the Palm Pre Plus is there to record, edit and even upload video. Nice.
This feature wasn’t originally on the phone, but was added through an automatic update. I love that new features can be added with just a simple update, I didn’t have to do a thing!
I can’t wait to see what else is in store for me and my Palm Pre Plus =)
