Sucrets Ice Review

by admin on February 5, 2009

sucretsiceIt seems like since Christmas my daughter and I have been having sore throats on a weekly basis. I chalk it up to the weather, and even the dryness of the air in our house.

Sucrets was kind enough to send us some samples of their new Sucrets Ice pops.

This is a great new concept that takes the power and relief of Sucrets and puts it in a whole new form that both children and moms will love.

My favorite feature of Sucrets Ice is that the “pops” do not need to be frozen until needed. The box can stay in your medicine cabinet until ready to use, and it only takes a short while to freeze once in the freezer.

I did find instant relief of my sore throat after just 1 fruit-flavored ice, so the product definitely works on adults as well as children. Sucrets Ice contains Menthol and Pectin which relieves the pain and soothes the throat. Echinacea and zinc are also added, which I love  :)

The only downside I found was that the pops do have a medicine-y taste, not overwhelming, but enough to know that it is in there. This does have an upside, in that your child probably won’t reach for one of these as a treat, and should only be used as needed.

Sucrets Ice come in 2 great flavors, Grape and Pomegranate, and are sold in a box of 6.

This product is meant for children ages 3 and older.
