There is no better way to put this, but my computer totally sucks. I feel like on any given day the whole thing will crash and I will never see any of my files, folders, or pictures again.
Being a blogger I have a TON of important stuff on my computer that I just could not live without. Not to mention my pictures. My 1000s upon 1000s of pictures of my daughter and family. Just thinking about losing them gives me a panic attack. I am sure any other mom can relate.
Given the state of my computer I knew I needed some sort of backup. I have tried online services in the past, and wasn’t certain that everything would actually be available to me if I ever really needed it. It was still a gamble.
Then like angels from heaven, I received an offer from Seagate to review one of their backup devices. In my case, I received the Seagate Replica.
This little unit is the answer to all my computer related prayers.

Now, even though my computer is constantly on the fritz, I have peace of mind.
The Replica is VERY simple to use. So simple you just use it strait out of the box. Simply plug in the unit to your USB drive and the Replica will begin to work its magic by backing up everything on your computer. By backup I mean makes a copy and stores it on its own portable hard drive. Then any time you add a picture or file to your computer, the Replica will back up that too, constantly keeping itself up to date.
I tested out my Replica by unplugging it from my desktop computer and plugging it into my mini. Sure enough, I had access to every single file from my desktop. I finally could breathe a sigh of relief. This thing is awesome!
In my opinion, the Seagate Replica is a must have product for anyone who owns a computer – and wants to keep their stuff safe.
The Seagate Replica 250 GB for a single PC retails for around $130 (though I just looked at Amazon and found it for $89). This makes for an awesome Christmas gift!
**I received a Seagate Replica in exchange for sharing my honest opinion of this product**
