Have you ever visited Texas? I traveled to Texas, specifically San Antonio, for the first time this year. It’s so funny that it took me so long to get there, because I absolutely loved it. Well, I suppose I could do without the scorching temps, but then it just wouldn’t be Texas, right?
San Antonio was so much more than I thought it would be. There is so much history and culture, and the people couldn’t have been nicer.
I was lucky enough to travel during Fiesta, an annual 11 day spring festival where the city comes alive with parades, events, music and food. Of course, no visit to San Antonio would be complete without a visit to the Alamo, which I also saw for the first time.
What I really loved though, was how family-friendly San Antonio is. The downtown River Walk makes the area so accessible. From hotels to restaurants, and the water taxis…there’s a million things to see and do.

Which is why I am bringing you an awesome giveaway from Texas on Tour- so you can experience a little taste of Texas for yourself!
