If you sit down to look at the statistics of child hunger in America, your mouth will drop. To sum it up briefly, more than 15 million children in the United States may not know where their next meal is coming from— that's more than one in five children!
It's a shocking fact, that quite frankly, makes me very sad as a parent. I can't imagine my child going hungry, and it pains me that that this is the reality for so many children in our country. But it doesn't have to be this way.

GOOD NEWS! ConAgra recently met its goal of donating the monetary equivalent of 100,000 meals to Feeding America!
Donate food to your local food bank. One of the easiest ways to get involved is to donate canned and non-perishable food items to your local food bank. An easy way to do this is to pick up a few extra items every time you go to the store, then once or twice a month you can drop off at your nearest location. This is a great way to show your children that even small efforts can make a big difference.
Volunteer at your local food bank. If donating food or money is not an option, consider donating your time to help sort and box food for your community. I know from experience that this is one of the most rewarding ways to help put a stop to childhood hunger, and an easy way to get your family involved.
Spread the Word. Tell your friends, family and coworkers about childhood hunger and encourage them to make a donation, volunteer or purchase specially marked ConAgra Food products and enter the codes online at childhungerendshere.com: 1 code=1 meal.
