Have a work out buddy I agree! It’s so much harder for you not to go to work out when you no someone is counting on you to!

Tip: Eat less, exercise more?

Ha, I know I always try to take the stairs when available instead of the elevator.

My best fitness tip is to swim a lot. I love swimming and it burns a ton of calories

Drink a lot of water. It really does help and you end up feeling a lot less stressed too.

159 Happi Shopr March 12, 2010 at 6:04 pm

Cutting my portions by a third is helping.

160 Amanda Campbell March 12, 2010 at 6:14 pm

My tip is to sneak in exercise when you can. It can be hard to block off 30 minutes to an hour a day to work out, but it can be easier to sneak in 10 minutes a few times a day.

162 Diane Tedesco March 13, 2010 at 7:44 am

I am talking a walk.

Variety is the one thing that keeps me going. I try to change up my exercise often so that I don’t get bored. Also, make it fun and exercise in groups…you’ll stick to it more!

I leave a post it note on my mirror reminding me to work out and that I can do it! Sounds cheesy, but it is a great motivator! Thanks!

169 Sonya March 13, 2010 at 2:17 pm

have a large serving of veggies, and start by eating them first. You’ll eat fewer calories and less junk!

170 Marc March 13, 2010 at 2:18 pm

My favorite tip is not to worry too obsess too much and get enough sleep…even without the exercise and change in diet habits it can go a long way to getting you in the right frame of mind to lose weight.

Thanks

181 Jay f. March 13, 2010 at 5:47 pm

Don’t be afraid of taking the stairs, and as often as possible.

182 amy March 13, 2010 at 6:01 pm

If you’re just starting out after a long stretch of no excercise or never working out – the good news is – everything counts at this point! This includes, parking further out when shopping and walking more, taking the stairs and your spring cleaning!

183 denyse March 13, 2010 at 6:08 pm

The best tips I have are to excersize (obviously), limit fat, watch calories, and don’t eat after dinner. I’m doing Wii sports active right now and I’ve lost 7 pounds in about a week and a half! It’s fun, too!

187 dianne March 13, 2010 at 7:42 pm

Find time to work out at least 5 times a week and definately stop eating nachos (my weakness).

188 melinda smith March 13, 2010 at 8:57 pm

I walk my dog 3-5 days a week for a min. of 20 minutes each time.
BUT I need to lose about 20lbs.

189 Ambre W. March 13, 2010 at 10:40 pm

My tip is to chew gum instead of having dessert.

I really do not have a tip. I have just recently started using the wii to help me loose a ton of weight. I noticed I am more into working out first thing in the morning.
