Pumpkin Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 bananas extra ripe
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, and eggs. Mix until light and fluffy, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add pumpkin and bananas. Mix well, 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips. Mix until just moistened, approximately 1 minute.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
  7. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
  8. Cool five minutes and remove from pans.
