Spider Deviled Eggs for Halloween Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs hard-boiled, peeled, & cut in half with yolks separated
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 36 black or Kalamata olives

Instructions

  1. Mash egg yolks with a fork into a fine crumble. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper to taste— mix until creamy.
  2. Evenly disperse yolk mixture into egg whites.
  3. Place 1 whole olive on the top of each deviled egg.
  4. Slice the remaining olives width-wise, and then once again in half to make spider "legs". You could also purchase pre-sliced olives and cut them in half to make this step easier.
  5. Place 4 strips of olive on each side of the whole olive to resemble a spider. Enjoy!
