5 Minutes for Mom is having a fun contest for a Nintendo Wii sponsored by Nestle. Its called “The Kid in You” and here is my entry- Thats my big mommy self doing handstands in the pool, one of the funnest things I remember of childhood…still brings out the kid in me today.

For my husbands birthday this year I wanted to get him something special. What could be more special than your very own domain name and blog (and subscription to Entertainment Weekly)? Right?

Well, that is just what he got.

Unfortunately, hubby knows nothing about blogging, so this will be a slow moving process in teaching him the ins and outs of wordpress. If I knew anything about mixology, or music I would probably be writing the posts for him…but luckily I don’t.

Lets hope he can make something of it

My husband celebrated his 36th birthday last this week and we went to Disney World for 3 days to celebrate the occassion (how come I only got to spend 1 day on my bday?)

We are obviously creatures of habit as we did the same thing for my birthday…
