My husband and I went to Miami on Monday so he could compete in a drink competition.

It was at this super nice restaurnt/hotel called Casa Tua in a lounge that was for ‘Members Only’….really nice and a total celebrity hot spot.

The competition ended up lasting ALL DAY! If it wasn’t for the champagne and hors d’oeuvres (which were ridiculously good and I was seriously the glutton of the group!) I think I would have lost it…

DH did not up winning, it was a woman from Chicago but it was still a great day.

I did eventually make it down to South Beach….

This was my first trip to Miami and I didn’t see too much, just the beach and the outdoor mall at Lincoln Rd.

I hope to go back sometime this summer with our daughter for a few days

I entered a photo contest from 5 Minutes for Mom by sharing a photo of what
“Motherhood means to Me”.

This photo is not one that I normally would publish on my blog, especially since I have no makeup on!…

However, I feel that this picture encompasses exactly what motherhood means to me, just by the expression on my face. It is of sheer joy, love and all the happiness I have inside for being a mom. My daughter is my whole life and I will never feel happier than when I am with her.

I was so excited to get a package from Disney World today! I wasn’t as lucky as some mom bloggers who got to go to Disney World last week, but I did get a package from the Mickey Moms Club which I believe makes me an official member

Just look at the goodies I recieved-

I LOVE everything Disney so this was an awesome surprise! I joined several months ago and didn’t get selected to be one of the 10 moms who represent the moms club (Even though I KNOW I know more about Disney World and the parks than anyone!) This somewhat makes up for it I suppose

Now only 5 months until our big Disney Vacation!

I was SO excited today that I finally got to meet up with fellow Mom Mastermind, and Mommy Blogger Jen Houck of One Mom’s World.

Jen moved to Florida months ago and we never got around to meeting, now she is moving back to North Carolina so we had to get together…I am so glad we did!

My daugher and I had the best time today meeting Jen and her 2 daughters, Madisyn and Lyndsee.

Overall we had an awesome day and I feel so stupid for not meeting Jen sooner. I think we got along great and she was just as sweet, down to earth, and personable as I’d thought she’d be
