Honestly.

So, Matthew McConaughey (How to lose a guy in 10 days) and his girlfriend Camila just had a baby boy last month named Levi.

He was quoted in a couple magazine about the birth and the quotes are just so eye-roll worthy.

Matthew tells OK! about the delivery of baby Levi:

“We found a great rhythm. Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music.”

Um OK, the last thing I want when I am in labor is someone sitting between my legs and getting tribal on it. DJ-ing Brazilian music? What?

“I said, ‘Come here, little man. I saw the pecker and screamed that we’d been right all along about him being a boy. Then I brought him over to her [Camila].’”

Nice. Seriously?

I don’t know, maybe it is just me, but he is way more than a little off.

Goodbye to the Monte Cristo

With most of the Bennigan’s closing could this be the end of my favorite fat ridden, artery clogging sandwich?

I don’t see how any company could go bankrupt with this golden nugget on their menu…

In the meantime, here is a recipe to make your own Bennigan’s Monte Cristo from home.

* 9 slices whole wheat bread
* 3 slices cooked turkey
* 3 slices cooked ham
* 3 slices American cheese
* 3 slices swiss cheese

Batter

* 1 egg
* 1-1 1/4 cup water
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1 1/2 cups flour
* 1 tablespoon baking powder
* vegetable oil (for deep frying)

Directions

1. Place turkey and Swiss cheese on one slice of bread and ham and American cheese on another slice of bread.
2. Place third slice in-between and secure the triple-decker sandwich in the corners with tooth picks.
3. Place egg in mixing bowl, add water and beat together.
4. Add salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder.
5. Beat batter until smooth.
6. Dip sandwich in batter and carefully cover all the sides and surface.
7. Carefully place in hot oil and fry until golden.
8. When sandwich has turned a warm gold color remove from hot oil and place on paper towel.
9. Let cool for a few minutes before removing the tooth picks.
10. Before serving slice into fourths and sprinkle with powder sugar.
11. Serve with Raspberry jam.

Fact #5 - I have a crush on the Jonas Brothers…Ok maybe just the oldest one. I hope he is over 18 because if not that would be weird. *I checked, he is.
