Did you know that you can make gourmet cookies at home without even taking out a mixer? It's true! I just made an amazing batch of Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt Dipped Chocolate Chip Cookies and it literally took me less than 20 minutes!

They tasted INCREDIBLE and were as soft and chewy as any high end bakery. The combination of dark chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt dipped onto half of a chocolate chip cookie was just icing on the cake  -- if you haven't tried this terrific combo you don't know what you're missing!

With NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE Refrigerated Cookie Dough you can feel like a pastry chef by creating your own winning recipes ... without all the extra work!  Nestle refrigerated cookie dough is the perfect foundation for whatever dessert you have in mind - you can use the dough as intended for cookies, or you can mix things up and and create a trendy and innovative new recipe--  just think of cookie dough as a blank canvas! What will you create?

Speed Scratch is the latest baking trend because it provides home-bakers with instant gratification, meaning they can bake to impress over and over again, using tried and true base ingredients, like NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE.

I was craving a mix of salty and sweet when I whipped up this Speed Scratch gourmet cookie recipe. I melted NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE Dark Chocolate Morsels with 53%c cacao using a double boiler (but the microwave would also work!) and simply dipped half of each chocolate chip cookie into the chocolate. The finishing touch was a sprinkle of course sea salt.

Ingredients
  • 1 package NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Dough
  • 1 bag NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE Dark Chocolate Morsels
  • Sea salt
Instructions
  1. Bake NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Dough as directed. Let cool.
  2. Using a double boiler or microwave, melt 1 bag of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE Dark Chocolate Morsels. Stirring often. If using microwave, set for 10-15 seconds at a time, stirring between cycles, until completely melted.
  3. Dip half of each cookie into melted dark chocolate.
  4. Set cookie on cooling rack and sprinkle with sea salt.
