I am Married to 2007 Employee of the Year!

Last Sunday my husband and I went to his annual Christmas party for all the employees of the company.

The party was in Tampa, so the store chartered some buses to get everyone there and back.

I thought this was great because A. I didn’t have to drive or pay for gas, and B. Because I could also have a drink or 2 and not have to worry about driving home…

Oh what a trip that was, I seriously thought we were going to die as our bus driver repeatedly hit the breaks (on the interstate mind you) and then at one point coming home the bus door swung open and we had to pull over on the Howard Franklin Bridge (Jen I am sure you know where I am talking about) at like 3am. Luckily, we made it home safe and sound.

The party was just like last years and was catered and included drinks, I would have drank a few more if I knew what was ahead for the bus ride home. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The big news of the night was that my husband won EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR!!

I am so happy he won this year as he should have won last year. I had some conspiracy concocted in my head that he was not going to win, so good thing I was wrong.

Here is a picture of us before we left:
