There’s going to be a lot of Carnival Breeze talk on Mommy Musings over the next few weeks because in just 11 days, I will be boarding the new ship in Barcelona, Spain for a 12-day Mediterranean cruise. Until then, the Carnival Breeze is officially off on her maiden voyage from Venice, Italy.

For the launch of the Carnival Breeze, Carnival Cruise Lines is taking an innovative approach with social media, showcasing the new ship with a series of video vignettes shot by a first-time Carnival cruiser Janell Wheeler who will document her experiences through Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
Throughout her cruise, Janell will be posting 1-2 minute videos on Carnival’s YouTube channel – http://www.youtube.com/user/Carnival/videos — showcasing her adventures on the Carnival Breeze. Videos are tagged “The Real Carnival Breeze” and you can also follow hashtag #RealCarnivalBreeze on Twitter for more updates. I’ve been watching the videos and I think they are adorable — it’s fun to see what’s in store for me before I sail the Carnival Breeze myself.
