The ‘Sunshine State’ has some of the best vacation attractions in the U.S.  There’s plenty to do for both mom and dad and the kids – it’s not just a fun destination for college students on spring break.
Orlando
Many families base their activities around Orlando as this town is the home to Disneyworld, SeaWorld, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. These theme parks are great fun for the whole family. When visiting Orlando the family might like to head down to Tampa and visit the world famous Busch Gardens and enjoy an African jungle experience, or perhaps check out one of the ice skating shows in the Moroccan Palace Theater. The rides at Busch Gardens are truly amazing; so do try out the ‘Gwazi’ roller coaster, which is alleged to be the fastest ride around.  There are many different types of package holidays and prices do vary for these attractions so anyone on a budget will still be able to enjoy these fantastic theme parks.
Miami
There is so much to do in Miami that some families might just want to confine their vacation to this city alone. Because Miami is considered one of the US top vacation destinations many people see the area as an ideal location to try some Florida real estate investment and then enjoy the sunshine and attractions as often as they choose.
The Miami ‘Seaquarium’ is one of the best places to go and see the dolphins and killer whales that live there. It’s a good idea to check in advance about the times of the daily shows as they can vary. For an all-round beach experience the Bill Baggs State Park, just south of Key Biscayne, is a great place for some sun and swimming. Visitors should also check out the Cape Florida Lighthouse. If the family want to hire a boat then head on down to Homestead Bayfront Park and Marina in the South of Dade County, this beach is slightly less touristy than some of the other Florida attractions and might suit those who are looking for a quieter way to enjoy their R & R.
The Everglades
It would be a crime to visit Florida and not take in a trip to the Everglades. There are 1.5 million acres of swampland to be investigated and both the kids and mom and dad will be fascinated by the amazing wildlife. To get to the Everglades you should travel to the very south of the State and look for signs to the National Park. Families can take a guided airboat tour or the very brave can venture out in a kayak and try a spot of independent sightseeing. The Ernest Coe Visitor Center is a great place to start the tour and you will be able to learn a little bit about the alligators and turtles that have made their home in this amazing ecosystem.
