Hilton Garden Inn Now Featuring In-Room Keurig Brewers

Let me tell you, this week has been all about coffee! On Monday I received a surprise from Keurig– a new brewer! I can’t tell you how excited I was to see that box on my doorstep. I’ve been using the Keurig mini brewer, every day, for about four years now. It still works great, but the newer model is definitely an upgrade.

Then later in the week I learned that Hilton Garden Innร‚ย is now featuring Keurig brewers in over 73,000 guestrooms within the U.S. and Canada.

In addition to aร‚ย Keurigร‚ย K130 single cup brewing system, each guestroom will be supplied with four complimentary Keurig K-Cup packs.

  • In the U.S., guestrooms will include two Diedrichs Regular Coffee, one Diedrichs Decaffeinated Coffee and one Bigelow Black Tea K-Cup packs.
  • Inร‚ย Quebec, guestrooms will include two Van Houtte Colombian Dark Coffee, one Van Houtte Decaffeinated Coffee and one Bigelow Black Tea K-Cupร‚ยฎ packs.
  • In the greaterร‚ย Canadaร‚ย area, guestrooms will include two Timothy’s Rainforest Alliance Extra Bold Coffee, one Timothy’s Rainforest Alliance Extra Bold Decaffeinated Coffee and one Bigelow Black Tea K-Cupร‚ยฎ packs.

Personally, I’m super excited about the addition because I can now take my favorite Keurig K-Cups with me when I stay at a Hilton Garden Inn. That might sound crazy to some, but once you’ve used a Keurig for so long you begin to get partial to certain flavors (right now I’m digging Wild Mountain Blueberry!).

According to a survey of 500 high-frequency travelers conducted by Carbonview Research, Inc., among the amenities surveyed, in-room coffee is second in importance, behind only WiFi. Additionally, 78% of guests said in-room coffee was important, and single serve coffee is guests’ number one in-room coffee preference.

How important is in-room coffee to you when you’re traveling?
