The day is finally here — Captain America: Civil War is now playing in theaters nationwide! I’m happy this day has arrived because now I can spill my thoughts on the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’ve been literally bursting with excitement since the world premiere!
After I screened the movie, I wrote down a single sentence that will basically sum up everything you need to know about Captain America: Civil War…
Captain America: Civil War is the best Marvel film to date!

What makes Captain America: Civil War so AMAZING is the characters and the action. Yes, we get that in all the Marvel films, but this installment is loaded with superheros and the action is on a whole other level. I really only have to mention SPIDER-MAN for you to understand how epic Captain America: Civil War is. But that is only the beginning…

In addition to Captain America and Iron Man (be prepared to choose a side by the end), Civil War features Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Patriot, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, Vision, the Winter Soldier and introduces Black Panther. Plus Agent 13 …. that’s a huge lineup with non-stop action – and a bit of romance – from start to finish!
As the title suggests, there is an internal rift between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark over political pressure and a system of accountability for the superheros after a public international incident. Steve wants to remain free to defend humanity without government supervision, while Tony supports the government and being responsible for their actions. This causes a divide between the Avengers who take sides and battle it out until the end.
Going in I was #TeamIronMan even though I have a thing for Chris Evans and Captain America (How could I not after this interview!?) — After the film my side remained the same. Still Team Iron Man. As to what side you’ll end up on, well, you’ll just have to see the movie!
My husband, daughter and I have a date tomorrow to see it in 3D, which should make it even more awesome.
