Disney Dining ADR’s BOOKED

I finally get to breathe a sigh of relief today as I booked all of our Disney Dining ADR’s (Advance Dining Reservations) for our September vacation.

Disney decided to mix things up this year by only letting guests book 90 days out (plus 10), instead of the previous years 180 days out.

Booking at 180 days out was great for a planner like myself. This way I was pretty much guaranteed the reservations I wanted at the harder to get restaurants, since there was less competition.

Now at 90 days, everyone is racing to get the same ressies, especially Le Cellier.

I got up at 6:30am to prepare myself to start dialing at 7:00am, when the dining lines are open. As I was waiting for 7 to come around, I started to play with the new online ADR system. I was surprised to see I could already start booking, so I went ahead and made all my reservations online, instead of over the phone.

I am really impressed with the new system and love how I received a confirmation email for every ADR.

For our free dining trip in September (opening weekend of the Food & Wine Festival), I booked:

Teppan Edo – Epcot Japan

Kona Cafe – Polynesian Resort

’50s Prime Time Cafe – Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Biergarten – Epcot Germany

Chefs de France – Epcot France

Tutto Italia – Epcot Italy

Le Cellier – Epcot Canada

Do you notice a trend here?

I did not get all the times or days I wanted, but I did get all the restaurants. I am so happy because these were all my first choices!

3 months to go until vacay!

Luckily, I will not have to wait even that long to go back to Disney World as I was invited by Maria Bailey (from Mom Select) to attend the Disney Florida Mom Blogger Mixer!! I am SO excited for this weekend!
