The holidays may be winding down, but that doesn't mean the parties have to— in fact, they are just starting up for my family at the New Year with football and tailgating in full swing. Food is always at the forefront of every get-together, so I tend to make shareable dishes that everyone likes. Two crowd favorites are macaroni and cheese and buffalo chicken. So imagine my delight when I came across a recipe on the Kraft Hub that combines both of these delicious eats— Buffalo Chicken Mac!
The awesome thing about this recipe is how easy it is to prepare. You can make Buffalo Chicken Mac to feed your family, or an entire crowd— just double or triple the recipe as needed for game day. We're big fans of KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner because it's super cheesy, and the added KRAFT shredded cheddar to the top of the casserole makes it even more indulgent ... Go big or go home, right!?
Here's the recipe as published on the Kraft Hub, feel free to add additional wing sauce if you like things a little more spicy.
Buffalo Chicken Mac Recipe
- 1 pkg. 14 oz. KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
- 1-½ cups chopped cooked chicken breasts
- 1 Tbsp. Buffalo wing sauce
- ½ cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green onions
-
HEAT oven to 425°F.
-
PREPARE dinner in large saucepan as directed on package.
-
TOSS chicken with wing sauce; stir into Dinner. Spoon into 1-½ qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; top with shredded cheese.
-
BAKE 5 to 10 min. or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with onions.
I shouldn't have to tell you that my family chowed down on this Buffalo Mac recipe! Everyone loved it so much that I will be making it again for our next game day party, though I will make a double batch because it was gone a little too fast. I figure I could always freeze the leftovers, but I doubt there will be any.
