This post is brought to you by PBS KIDS. All opinions are my own.

Curious George is where it's at! I remember reading the series of books when I was a kid, and then later watching the animated series with my sister. Then, a few years after my daughter was born, PBS KIDS starting airing the new adventures of Curious George. We've been watching that adorable monkey (and the Man with the Yellow Hat!) together for years now, and haven't seem to outgrow his mischievous tales.

A favorite Curious George special is on PBS KIDS just in time for the holiday season – CURIOUS GEORGE: A Very Monkey Christmas will be airing Wednesday, November 26! {Click here to find out what time it is on in your area}.

CURIOUS GEORGE: A Very Monkey Christmas

The hour-long family special will join George and The Man with the Yellow Hat as they count down the days until Christmas. There’s only one puzzle: neither of them can figure out what to give the other for a present. The Man is having trouble reading George’s wish list and George doesn't have a clue about what to get for the Man who seems to have everything.

This PBS KIDS movie event sounds very fun, and true to other PBS programming, educational. CURIOUS GEORGE helps children build science, math and engineering skills.

Make the event a family movie night!

CURIOUS GEORGE: A Very Monkey Christmas

To make CURIOUS GEORGE: A Very Monkey Christmas on PBS KIDS into a family-friendly movie night, follow these easy steps.

  1. Check local listings for the time the special airs -- you can follow this page for times. Since this is a PBS KIDS show, it more than likely airs the morning of Wednesday, November 26. Being that we're making this a family movie night, you'll want to set your DVR to record the show for later viewing.
  2. Make a large bowl of popcorn and add red, green, yellow and brown chocolate candies to celebrate CURIOUS GEORGE: A Very Monkey Christmas.
  3. Get pillows, blankets and any Curious George stuffed animals— snuggle up on the couch with your family and watch CURIOUS GEORGE: A Very Monkey Christmas while eating your special Curious George monkey mix. Happy Holidays!

Will you be watching CURIOUS GEORGE: A Very Monkey Christmas?
