When it comes to hotel beds, not all are created equal. I've stayed in dozens of hotels, and the one thing that can make or break my stay is the bed. I love a bed you can sink into, but something with support. I often find it's one or the other.

On my recent trip to Lanai, Hawaii, I think I found the holy grail of beds at the Four Seasons Manele Bay & The Lodge at Koele.

Yep, I stayed at two Four Seasons on Lanai, and they both had the same great bed!

Bed at the Four Seasons: The Lodge at Koele

The Four Seasons bed is perfect. I literally sunk into it each night, and woke up late every morning in a cocoon of linens and pillows. And the pillows! Oh, how I want those pillows. For a split second, I contemplated smuggling one-- though I knew I'd be paying for it! The combination of the Four Seasons bed, pillows and linens made for one of my best sleeps ever.

Tell me, where is your favorite hotel bed?

Special thanks to the Four Seasons Manele Bay and The Lodge at Koele for hosting my stay.

Would have to say that the "heavenly beds" at the Walt Disney World Dolphin are the best...followed closely by the beds at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort.

I agree with Amanda - my favorite is any Westin Heavenly bed!

The most comfortable bed was at the Sheraton in Bangkok.

I love it! It does really look so comfy. It is good to be placed in a hotel.
