Have you seen these mini cupcake makers?
At first, I thought they were just silly — another useless kitchen gadget to collect dust underneath my cabinets. It wasn’t until my mother bought me one for Christmas that I found this little appliance so useful… and not for just cupcakes!
Since I’m a cupcake lover at heart, that’s what I started with.
My first batch was from a box mix, and they came out perfectly. I don’t have a picture, but I assure you they were delicious … and adorable! From there, I decided to start making the cupcakes from scratch. I am not a baker, but I manage to get by. Pinterest has been a little obsession of mine for finding new and interesting cupcake recipes. Here’s one of my favorites:

Besides miniature cupcakes, the mini cupcake maker makes the most adorable little quiches and cornbread muffins — but cupcakes are still my favorite. I’ve been baking so many batches that if I don’t watch myself, I will need tummy liposuction! Speaking of lipo, have you seen the liposuction prices lately!? I think I will just stick to making these little beauties for special occasions, instead of everyday (like I am now) … either way, the mini cupcake maker is one of my favorite presents from Christmas.
