Looking for a super simple frozen treat recipe this summer? These Fruit Cocktail Popsicles have only 2-ingredients and cost just pennies to make!
Summer is here— and that means it's the season of popsicles! Living in Florida, we make our fair share of homemade popsicles (also know as ice pops) because they're not only easy, but fun to prepare with a variety of ingredients. The popsicle making trend has become so popular that you can find a crazy assortment of molds that only enhance the ice pop eating experience.
When we're feeling lazy, I have a super simple ice pop recipe that is always a hit. Fruit Cocktail Popsicles only require two ingredients, and neither are fresh (I know, I know...don't judge...this is an EASY popsicles recipe!)
2-Ingredient Fruit Cocktail Popsicles
Fruit Cocktail Ice Pops Ingredients:
- 1 can Fruit Cocktail
- 12-18 Maraschino Cherries
How to Make Fruit Cocktail Popsicles:
1. Place a Maraschino cherry in the bottom of each popsicle mold.
2. Fill each mold with fruit cocktail, adding an extra cherry halfway through.
3. Make sure each ice pop mold is filled with liquid to the fill line.
4. Insert sticks and place in freezer for at least 3-5 hours.
SUPER SIMPLE!! Technically, the Maraschino cherries are an optional ingredient, as these ice pops can be made with just fruit cocktail, but I think the cherries are what make the popsicles EXTRA! If you're cutting back on sugar, there are different varieties of canned fruit cocktail, including low sugar and no sugar added.
