How catchy is that? And as someone who has been to Hawaii, it makes me want to hop on a plane to get back there ASAP! The musical love story was inspired by the isolated beauty of tropical islands and the explosive allure of ocean volcanoes.
Director Ford Murphy fell in love with the Hawaiian culture on his honeymoon, over twenty years ago, and even wrote the song for the short himself. Producer Andrea Warren was instantly on board after hearing Murphy play the piece on the ukulele … and the rest is history! You have to see the full short before INSIDE OUT – I know it’s going to be a huge hit!!
LAVA opens in theaters on June 19, 2015, in front of INSIDE OUT!
