L.A. Bound for #MaleficentEvent & #FireAndRescueEvent

Earlier this month I received one of the most exciting invitations to ever hit my inbox. I literally squealed out loud when I read that I would be traveling to Los Angeles, along with 24 other awesome bloggers, to attend the press junket for MALEFICENT — one of the most anticipated films of 2014, starring Angelina Jolie as the iconic Disney villain.

When it comes to actors, Angelina is kind of a big deal. Just from the previews alone you can tell that she knocks the role of Maleficent out of the park! I mean, really, take a look for yourself—

While I'm out in L.A. next week, I will have the chance to screen the movie (in theaters May 30!), and HOPEFULLY sit down for an interview or two with the stars and filmmakers — I'm crossing my fingers that Maleficent herself will be there!

In addition, I'll be visiting Disney Toon Studios for the PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE press day, where I'll interview Julie Bowen (voice of “Dipper”) and the filmmakers, attend a drawing demonstration with animators and get a chance to voice a character from the film in a recording booth! "Planes: Fire & Rescue" is the sequel to Disney's 2013 animated film "Planes", and opens in theaters July 18.

And if that wasn't enough, I'll also be attending an exclusive Disney Consumer Products and Disney Store product presentation and tour at Disney’s Glendale Creative Campus to learn all about the new product lines for both films. I'm sure there will be plenty of surprises in store as well!

I'm beyond excited about the entire event, and the best part is that you can follow along May 19-21 with the hashtags #MaleficentEvent & #FireAndRescueEvent on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!

Special thanks to Walt Disney Pictures for providing my travel & accommodations for the event. All opinions are my own.
