It’s an exciting day for LEGOLAND Florida. Today, it was announced that the new theme park will open October 15, 2011.
I couldn’t be more excited.
Last month I visited LEGOLAND California for the first time. If LEGOLAND Florida is anything like its counterpart across the country –and we’re promised it will be– we are in for a huge treat.
The new LEGOLAND in Florida will be the biggest LEGOLAND park in the world, at over 150 acres with more than 50 rides, shows and attractions.
LEGOLAND is unique in that it caters all of its rides and attractions to children ages 2-12. That’s not to say adults won’t enjoy it too, but most rides can be experienced by everyone in the family.
LEGOLAND Florida is located in Winter Haven, Florida, 45 minutes southwest of Orlando and 45 minutes from downtown Tampa.
