Betty Crocker, we are not

DD and I made sugar cookies (with sprinkles and M&Ms) to give away as Christmas presents this year.

I learned rather quickly that baking is not our forte.

It started out pretty well. I mixed up about 8 dozen cookies…

DD’s job was to decorate.

Yes, that’s a whole shaker of sprinkles on 1 pan of cookies.

Then about halfway through my baking, I burnt my thumb on the hot pan!

It doesn’t look to bad here, but it hurt for HOURS and blistered up.

We finally finished all the cookies, and then FIL came over the next day and ate half of them with dd.

Luckily, I made extra.
