I recently got the opportunity to try out the new Finish Quantum and Jet-Dry Turbo Dry for my dishwasher. Finish is the new name for Electrosol.
The #1 thing I hate most about washing dishes is when they are still dirty after a full cycle in the dishwasher. I often wonder if it would just be easier to clean my dishes by hand. To get my dishes really clean I have to pre-wash them before putting them in the washer. It basically defeats the whole purpose of the dishwasher and I use twice the amount of water.
Finish gave me a few tips to use along with the new Finish Quantum:
• Run Tap Water First: For sparkling clean dishes, run your kitchen’s hot water tap before starting the dishwasher to make sure the water entering the machine has reached its highest temperature.
• Scrape, Don’t Rinse: Scrape your dishes because the enzymes in your detergent that soften burnt-on food need to cling to protein/starch, such as egg and oatmeal, in order to work properly.
• Load Properly: Cups, glasses and less soiled items should be placed on the top rack. Generally, larger and dirtier items are best on the bottom rack.
I want first say that the new Finish Quantum tabs are no joke. There is some heavy duty washing power in each of the little tabs that are noticeably packaged different than other tablets.
Finish Quantum has a multi-Chamber system that is pre-measured and wrapper free. This technology separates 3 powerful active ingredients, releasing them when needed in the dishwashing cycle.
1. Powerball with Jet-Dry Gel for an amazing shine
2. Powermax Bleach removes stains like tea and coffee
3. Powerful Enzymes soften burnt-on food like lasagna
I can honestly say my dishes have never looked cleaner. The glass was perfectly spot free, and everything was completely dry. The difference is like night and day from my old dishwashing tabs. I do not normally use any type of drying agent, but after seeing just how dry my dishes were I am sold on the benefit of using it.
Finish Quantum is slightly more expensive at $4.99 for a 12 capsule pack…but it is totally worth it!

The stuck on eggs that my kids seems to forget to wash from their plates in the morning.
thanks
I hate unloading the dishwasher.
We saved up to purchase a fancy Whirlpool dishwasher after our old one died (after only 3 years!!). For about 2 years we were happy with it, then we received a letter in the mail that had a recall on the door, the WHOLE inside of the door. To fix this issue they sent out new door guts….that we have to replace because there is a fire issue if you use jet dry, or the like, in it. We have no clue how to replace this, seriously I was so upset. So now the guts are still sitting in the garage and we no longer use jet dry in our dishwasher, we only use the detergent with the little balls. So frustrating but I do still love my dishwasher because it does a good job.
What I hate most about washing dishes is that it makes my dry skin even worse than it normally is. We have an older dishwasher, so I feel that it is necessary to wash the dishes in the sink before I load them in the dishwasher, This means that my hands are soaking in water at least three times a day, in addition to all the other water-related housework that I do. I apply cream to my hands constantly, but it doesn’t help very much.
I love my new dishwasher. It even has a sanitizer on it so I never worry about dirty dishes again.
dishpan hands (and the smell…)
For twenty year my wife and I wash the dishes by hand. We hated that so much that we would a long as possible to wash them. A year ago we bought a dishwasher and had it installed. we now almost use it everyday.
We hated the mess of dirty dishes sitting in the sink and counters, now we can put them in the dishwasher and they are gone.
When it comes to dishwashing I do not like the fact that my hands get rough and dry.
Maybe im just lazy, I hate the time it takes to load and unload the dishwasher. I also don’t like when they don’t come out totally clean.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I hate the way it makes my nails weak and they inevitably end up breaking off after I’ve done the dishes.
I don’t enjoy doing it all the time every day! It’s just a messy business and people put dirty dishes in the wrong side of the sink so food gets stuck in the drain. Plus, it would be nice if others in the house help out and that doesn’t happen too often! Plus, many times the dishes don’t look that great out of the dishwasher.
I hate it when unloading the dishwasher, you are invariably splashed with a “soup” of food particle laden water that has collected on the top of the now clean coffee mugs, glasses, bowls, etc. This, after doing your “green” duty by allowing the load to air dry !!!
Can you tell my wife makes me do the dishes ?
I despise unloading the dishwasher!

i hate unloading the dishwasher
i hate the smelly greasy pans
I hate that yukie greasey dishes most of all. I hate that I have to stand and do dishes when I could be doing something else like read a book.
It never ends. There are always more dishes to do.
I hate unloading the dishwasher it seems like I’m always the one around when it needs to be done.
I hate taking dirty dishes out of the sink before I can get to the plug so I can wash them.
When I get lazy I leave dishes to soak. If I wait too long they end up smelling horrible. Then you have to scrub hard dishes that are smelly.
I hate it when they don’t come out as clean as they should and some food has stuck on a dish.

The thing I hate most about the dishes is that I’m the one who always does them. Whenever its time to load or unload the dishwasher there always seems to be a mass exodus in the house.
When I don’t load the dishwasher properly and everything needs to be redone.
My dishes never seem to get cleanin the dishwasher but I hate sticking my hands down in a sink full of dishes and funky water. I just hate dishes, lol.
Thank you for th chance to win, I really appreciate it!
I hate ALL of it! I just wish dishes would magically clean themselves. I can’t stand making a meal and then having to clean up afterwards. A dishwasher is a lifesaver though so I am thankful I have mine…I guess one of the worst parts is seeing the food come off the plates..kinda nasty!
