Can I tell you how much I love summer? It’s the best time of the year because there are so many outdoor activities to do as a family. We adore the warm weather and all of the fun that goes along with it— especially time at the beach, pool or even our backyard for a picnic!
When I think of summer, the color yellow comes to mind. It’s bold and bright (like the sun!) and embodies warmth and feelings of happiness. It’s hard to feel down when you’re surrounded by yellow.
To celebrate summer and the elements of ‘fun in the sun’, I thought it would be cool to host a bright and cheery outdoor picnic for my family. I haven’t decided the exact location for my gathering, but I did create a mood board with crafts and activities that I’m looking forward to trying with my husband and daughter.
