12 “Mile High” Pies for Pi Day

Let’s talk about pie. Truly, one of the greatest desserts ever created. The possibilities of pies are endless— Apple, blackberry, rhubarb, coconut cream, chocolate, lingonberry… There are single-crust, filled, top-crust (also known as cobblers) and two-crust pies.

But the best kind of pie, in my opinion, are “Mile High” pies. Because if you’re going to eat a pie … EAT A PIE — piled high with meringue, cream or fruit filling.

And if you need an excuse to indulge in a little pie, National Pi Day is March 14 (Get it? 3/14 … 3.14).
