Our trash can has been stolen. I know that is the most asinine thing. I mean really, who steals a trash can?

It was pretty awesome because it came from Ace Hardware and was RED. I guess someone could be jealous of my cool red trashcan.
My husband thinks the trash men must of thought it was just “garbage” and threw it away with the rest of the trash. This theory is just dumb, what trash man would do that? Our trash can was clearly not trash. I mean it was missing the lid and the handles were broken from the trash man lifting it so many times…but not trash.
I suspect the neighbors had something to do with it. Their sneaky like that. I am not sure who yet, but I am running a full investigation.
I even posted these signs. I know the homeowner’s association is just going to love them.
Instead of “Lost” I should have wrote “Stolen”, but I thought maybe the thief would think I actually “lost” the trash can myself and would be more likely to return it. Good Plan.
