One of the reasons why I love to travel is because it's a chance to create lasting memories with family and friends. There's the excitement of seeing a new place, trying a new type of food, and exploring the world outside of the daily grind. And after the trip ends, you get all of those moments and feelings of togetherness to hold on to-- the opportunity to look back at photos and say, "Remember that time we were in ...?"
Tripographer, powered by Marriott, is a new -- and very cool, if I might add -- way to share all of your favorite family travel adventures. The online application allows you to easily edit trip photos, create slideshows, and build actual street-view tours to share with friends and family through your social networks. Plus, it's a fun and free way to look back at your favorite vacation memories long after the getaway is over.
I recently tested out Tripographer by posting a photo edited in the app to my Facebook and Twitter account. If you just wanted to share one single snapshot, you can easily do so by selecting "Treat a photo" in Tripographer. You then have the option of adding different effects and enhancements before sharing online.
I chose to share one of my favorite photos of my daughter and I in Dubrovnik, Croatia -- a port stop on our Mediterranean cruise last summer.
From there I have the option to go on and create a slideshow of our trip, or build a tour with interactive maps and audio telling the full story of our mother-daughter adventure.
While there are a lot of photo editing apps online, I think Tripograpger is unique in that you can share a real story with your trip photos by adding maps and narration-- in your own words! The finished product is something you can be proud to share online.
What do you think of Tripographer from Marriott? Do you have great vacation story to tell? I encourage you to try the online application for yourself (remember it's free!) at http://tripographer.marriott.com.
