For the past two years I have insisted that my daughter take her lunch to school. Naturally, she gripes and moans that she doesn’t get to eat pizza and chicken nuggets everyday like the kids who buy lunch, but knowing exactly what goes into her lunchbox is more important to me. We’ve comprised by making school lunches together so she knows that she’s getting some of her favorite foods and that has worked well for us both.
One of her favorite school lunches is made up of a good ole turkey and cheese sandwich. Since I’m picky about the quality of food that she eats, it only makes sense that I give her Boar’s Head Ovengoldรยฎ Turkey. In fact, Boar’s Head is the ONLY brand of meat that I purchase at our local Publix deli.
Why Boar’s Head? If you’ve ever tasted it you know why; but if you haven’t, Boar’s Head has noรย random parts, no fillers and no artificial colors or flavors. It’s turkey you can feel good about feeding to your kids because it’s 100% real. I have no problem spending a little more to get a quality product with ingredients I can pronounce– does anyone really want to eat a sandwich made withรย mechanically separated turkey!?
