I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Triscuit. I received products to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I know I've mentioned it before— My family loves to snack! If it's crunchy, dippable, and/or flavorful, it's good by us. One of the snacks we've been munching on for years is Triscuit crackers. Those little woven squares are simply irresistible, whether they're plain, dipped or topped with goodies.
Now, there's a new Triscuit on the block (actually, there are 5 new flavors) made with brown rice along with real food ingredients like sweet potatoes and red beans.
- Brown Rice Triscuit seasoned with Sea Salt & Black Pepper
- Brown Rice Triscuit seasoned with Tomato & Sweet Basil
- Brown Rice Triscuit baked with Red Bean seasoned with Roasted Red Pepper
- Brown Rice Triscuit baked with Red Bean seasoned with Savory Red Bean
- Brown Rice Triscuit baked with Sweet Potato seasoned with Roasted Sweet Onion
Brown Rice Triscuit crackers are baked with 100% whole grain brown rice and wheat (not gluten-free), with no high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oil, cholesterol or artificial flavors. Since the flavor is baked in, these babies are FULL OF FLAVOR!
My family recently tried three of the new flavors of Brown Rice Triscuit — Sea Salt & Black Pepper, Sweet Potato seasoned with Roasted Sweet Onion & Red Bean seasoned with Roasted Red Pepper — and we couldn't stop eating them. My husband really like Sea Salt & Black Pepper, and I was a fan of the Sweet Potato seasoned with Roasted Sweet Onion. My daughter even enjoyed the roasted sweet onion and red pepper crackers (not her typical flavors).
We ate the new Brown Rice Triscuit crackers alone and with toppings. One of my favorite ways to top a Triscuit is with cheese. But instead of just using basic cheddar (which is still yummy!), I decided to elevate the flavor of the crackers a little more with some fresh basil, tomato, mozzarella and a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar to make Mini Caprese Triscuits.
As you can imagine, these crackers were delicious. I used Brown Rice Red Bean seasoned with Roasted Red Pepper Triscuit crackers as my base, but I really think any flavor could be used, especially Brown Rice seasoned with Tomato & Sweet Basil.
I'm not the only one coming up with creative topping for Triscuit— Rocco DiSpirito has joined Triscuit to create some unique topper creations for Brown Rice Triscuit crackers.
Have you tried Brown Rice Triscuit crackers?
