One of my favorite new beverages to serve to my adult friends and family is Barefoot Refresh Summer Red Spritzer. Served chilled or over ice, this sparking blend of Pinot Noir Rosé and Moscato is perfect when the sun is shining. Its light-bodied and refreshing taste showcases notes of raspberry, orange and freshly picked berries, complimenting casual summertime occasions, including cookouts, picnics or weekends at the pool. Sometimes I even have a glass when I’m by myself to unwind after a long day!
Barefoot Refresh is great on its own, but if you want something extra special for your end-of-the summer celebrations, try this fabulous Red Sangria recipe made with Barefoot Refresh Summer Red Spritzer.
Refreshing Red Sangria
Ingredients
• 1 750 ml bottle Barefoot Refresh Summer Red Spritzer
• 4 ounces Brandy
• 1 1/2 ounces of Simple Syrup
• 2 cups Frozen Raspberries
• Juice of 2 Oranges
• Juice of 1 Lemon
Directions
- Place frozen fruits in a large pitcher. Add simple syrup and fresh juice from oranges and lemon.
- Top with brandy and Barefoot Refresh Summer Red Spritzer. Stir.
- Cover pitcher and refrigerate. Allow mixture to marinate for 4 hours or overnight. Serve over ice.
