One of my resolutions this year was to start eating more healthfully. This is usually very easy for me to do at breakfast and dinner, but lunch is another story. I find that if I don't have anything to eat at home, or there is nothing easy to prepare, I will skip the meal all together. Not a good idea.
Earlier this month, Collective Bias asked its member to go to Walmart and check out the products from Lean Cuisine and Skinny Cow.
I was very excited about this shop because in my opinion, this is just what I needed to get me on a better eating schedule- fast, affordable meals that I could stock my freezer with and pull out as needed.
It was like my Walmart knew I was coming in for Lean Cuisine, because the shelves were stocked. They were also on sale for $1.98 each! That's a really good price.
I picked up a few favorites and a couple new choices. I also picked up the new Lean Cuisine Market Creations and Skinny Cow ice cream bars.
My favorite of the Lean Cuisine meals has got to be the Market Creations. The meals steam in the microwave in a couple of minutes. The result was an extremely fresh-tasting meal. I was actually very surprised at the quality for the price. At my store, the Market Creations were $2.5o.
I am going to keep filling my freezer with Lean Cuisine meals. The portion sizes are perfect, and they are low in fat and calories. Plus, you can't beat the price.
Collective Bias compensated me for my time. All opinions are my own.
