My family is headed out tomorrow on a little road trip before we board the Carnival Dream for a week-long cruise. Before we leave, we needed to fuel up at our local Murphy USA gas station– they truly have the lowest gas prices.
That’s my mom pumping the gas for me 🙂
Only $3.44 a gallon!! We saved an extra .03 a gallon by purchasing a Walmart gift card (right next to Murphy USA) to pay for our gas.
I also wanted to pick up some much need energy drinks to get me through the long day that is ahead of me.
At the front counter I found a new energy shot called Jacked Up. It was on special, 2 for $2.99.
I picked up 2 of the 3 flavors– Outrajus Orange and Bangin Berry.
There was a sign right on the counter that said if you check in on foursquare at Murphy USA from July 1-September 5, you are entered to win $20,000 or a new 2011 Chevy Camaro in the Camaro or Dinero Sweepstakes…sweet! So I checked in.
You can also text JACKEDUP to MURPHY (687749) to enter to win if you don’t use foursquare.
Finally, I picked out some snacks and paid for my gas, skittles and Jacked Up energy drinks.
Before leaving Murphy USA, I took a picture of myself and one of the JackedUp energy drinks in front of a Murphy USA sign (it was actually the gas pump). When I got home, I went to FuelingFun.com and entered the JackedUp Photo Contest for a chance to win $1000 and a one-year supply of JackedUp enery shots. All you have to do is snap a photo of you and a JackedUp Energy shot with a Murphy USA or Murphy Express sign in the picture. If your photo gets the most votes, you could win the grand prize!
